Serving on the Ute Stampede Rodeo Committee

You can tell a lot about a person by how they show up for their community—not just at the ballot box, but year after year.

For me, that place has always been the Ute Stampede Rodeo.

I’m Chris L. Memmott, and serving on the Ute Stampede Rodeo Committee has been one of the great honors of my life. This iconic event isn’t just a rodeo. It’s a celebration of who we are.

Every summer, we welcome visitors from across the nation and show them the heart of Juab County—our heritage, our grit, and our unmatched community spirit.

That work has given me something invaluable:

• Real relationships with county officials and neighbors alike
• A front-row seat to what makes our traditions worth protecting
• A deeper understanding of how we pull together to get big things done

These connections aren’t talking points. They’re the foundation of how I’ll lead.

When you know your community this well, you serve it better. That’s the promise I’m bringing to the Commissioner’s office.
